Originally an early 1900s residential duplex—hence the restaurant’s name—this cozy, home-like aesthetic shines through in its current incarnation. The open layout, two-story space was designed by celebrated visionary Thomas Schoos, of notable, design-savvy destinations.
The first story features an expansive al fresco patio that wraps around the restaurant’s exterior; a vibrant bar and lounge dotted with plush sofas, arm chairs, and communal tables; an open kitchen and an inviting dining room with hardwood floors, a fireplace, bookcases dotted with tchotchkes from around the world, and colorful patchwork rugs.
A series of sliding glass doors separate the interior lounge and bar area from the patio, all of which open to create a seamless indoor and outdoor space.
The upstairs also boasts its own plushy furnished bar and lounge decorated with intriguing vintage elements, as well as a dining room with expansive windows throughout, creating an inviting and naturally lit interior.
